Fleet and Heavy Equipment Mechanic

As a Fleet and Equipment Mechanic, you are responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of the company’s vehicles and equipment. You perform diagnostics and preventive maintenance to ensure their reliability and safety, while contributing to the smooth execution of operations.

• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on the company’s trucks, corporate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Plan and carry out regulatory and preventive inspections in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP).
• Review vehicle inspection reports and coordinate any required repairs.
• Diagnose equipment and vehicle malfunctions and perform the necessary repairs.
• Coordinate work with suppliers and subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of parts, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper operation of the mechanical workshop.
• Assist with facility maintenance and perform any other related duties as required.

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Automotive Mechanics, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical inspections and the Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and well-organized.
• Ability to manage priorities and work safely.
• Strong team spirit and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
