The priests of Saint-Sulpice in Montreal, also known as the Sulpicians, belong to the “Compagnie des Prêtres de Saint-Sulpice”, a society of Catholic apostolic life founded in 1641 by Jean-Jacques Olier in the parish of Saint-Sulpice in Paris. Here are a few key points to understand who they are and what role they have played in Montreal.
This project began with water damage in the attic mechanical room, which then affected the three floors below. Demolition work was therefore necessary on all four floors.
Once the demolition was complete, the clients decided to redevelop these floors, which led to the creation of new divisions and the installation of new finishes.
The fenestration and heritage exterior door were also replaced, with particular care taken to preserve the building's heritage.
Finally, structural work was carried out (beam replacement, repointing of exterior bricks and replacement of spandrels), as well as a complete upgrade of the electrical, plumbing, ventilation, sprinkler, heating and fire alarm systems.
